The RS 4200 is an ultra-lightweight RF wireless stereo stethoset headphone system for enjoying TV sound without disturbing others. The in-the-ear hearing aid is a discreet model placed in the ear canal. It only consists of one part (the shell), which houses the electronics. The shell is custom made on the basis of an impression of the user’s ear canal. An in-the-ear model (ITE) is suitable if you have a mild to severe hearing loss. The ITE has all its electronics contained within a plastic shell molded to fit your ear. The ITE model is placed in the ear canal, but with the faceplate still visible in the concha of your ear. The size - and the visibility – of the ITE depend on your degree of hearing loss and the shape of your ear canals. The ITE comes with optional user controls for program and volume change on the outside shell plate.

The receiver-in-canal (RIC) model is a new development in hearing aids and is suitable for mild to severe hearing loss. The RIC model consists of three parts: The housing, which hangs behind your ear, and a slim wire connecting the housing with an ear-tip that goes directly in the ear canal. New - compared to a classic BTE - is that the receiver (the loudspeaker) is placed in the ear-tip, thereby reducing the size of the housing behind your ear, and yielding the hearing aid a more aesthetic look. The RIC model is a very discreet, yet powerful hearing aid, which works fully automatically.

The classic behind-the-ear model (BTE) is the choice if you have a moderate to severe hearing loss or if you have very small ear canals, which makes it difficult to fit an entire hearing aid into your ear. All the electronic components of a classic BTE model are located in a housing placed behind your ear. A slim plastic tube with an ear mould in the end directs the amplified sound from the hearing aid into your ear. Manual controls for volume and program change are placed on the top side of the hearing aid for easy user access. Depending on the model, BTE hearing aids can often be fitted with an open fit solution. This means that the ear-tip is made with compensatory measures so as to optimize the sound processing.

T-DEXFor bluetooth mobile phonesThe T-DEX is a hands-free, wireless neck loop for use with all hearing aids with a telecoil. It lets you easily connect with Bluetooth mobile phones. Simply place the T-DEX around your neck and then activate it when your phone rings. The sound is transmitted wirelessly to your hearing aids so you can hear and converse directly. •Because it amplifies the sound from your mobile phone, the T-DEX is perfect in situations where there is a lot of background noise. •Its hands-free operation means that it is easy to talk on your phone while driving for example.
